Our restaurant reviews as one of the best restaurants and best fine dining experiences in Bigfork Montana

"Myself and my wife had lunch at this upstairs eatery on the main street in Bigfork, don't be put off by the fact that it's upstairs..there is an elevator….What a find…great staff and food to match. We both had home made burgers..and shared a starter of scotch eggs…unusual and interesting menu…something for everyone…our only regret was that we were only passing through….we would have booked for dinner that night if we were staying anywhere close by,.. highly recommended."  Dubsman from TripAdvisor

"This restaurant has absolutely fantastic food and a wonderful atmosphere. Everything on the menu is great. Today, I had the fish and chips, but you can substitute the chips with soup, salad or sweet potato fries. Salads are outstanding. You also have to try their shrimp appetizer — to die for! The owners are down to earth, very friendly and very accommodating. They are new, but have hit Bigfork by storm! Give them a try — you will not be sorry!"   – Pat S. TripAdvisor

"We have eaten at 459 four times over the span of a year. Each meal was very good. I had the encrusted Ahi the first time (wife had something with chicken) – both tasty and done to perfection. Next time I had the Ribeye – surprisingly enough, a good steak is hard to fine in this part of Montana and this one was excellent. The other two times we had their burgers…Mmmmm good! Tonight I had the 459 burger – burger (cooked to your liking) with a fried egg, cheese and sliced ham tucked into a fresh fluffy bun…life just doesn't get any better for a burger lover. It is a bit of a drive, but, we try to get there every few months."   – Papa Llebre from TripAdvisor

"We had a large party with friends and family from out of state, made a reservation and the table was ready for us when we got there. We had the Scotch Eggs suggested to us by our waitress and the Kabobs and Wontons all excellent. We has Steaks, Ahi, Salmon, and Burgers along with the Penne, all were delicious. Our cocktails were great ranging from the local IPA to the Maple Manhattan. Our service was excellent especially for so many of us at once, we had a great time and definetly will be back next summer."   – Texas Rose from TripAdvisor

"My husband and I had dinner at Grille 459 last summer for our anniversary and had a wonderful dinner. The food was wonderful and we definitely got our monies worth. Our entrees were quite satisfying and we even ended up taking some of it home. We weren't sure about wine with our dinner but the waitress suggested a great bottle and then the manager gave us a bottle to take home with us as an anniversary gift. The staff was wonderful, they went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect for us. I just can't say enough great things about this restaurant. We felt very comfortable and welcomed and have been back several times for lunch and dinner and have never had a bad experience!!"   – bzybigforkmom from TripAdvisor

"Oh yum! The salads were fresh and crisp. I loved the lemon raspberry viniegrette. I had the rib eye with the Parmesan risotto (A+), while my husband had flank steak with the white cheddar mashed potatoes. We would have licked our plates if the young boy at the next table wasn't watching. The wine list, though small by big city standards had some marvelous reds to choose from ( I don't drink white so i can't comment there). The prices were very reasonable. This place is great! "    – Cathy W. from TripAdvisor

"Are you a burger lover? No, not you. I mean ARE YOU A BURGER LOVER?! Ok, still with me? Yes, this is really that. Grille 459 should be visited from afar, frequented from nearby and experienced over and over and over again. The Hagen brothers that own the place are about as good as it comes when you think of a place you want to frequent, have great food, enjoy good times with friends and always know you're in good hands. And by good hands, I mean, come on! Have you seen how big they make those hand made patties. I'm not sure they're a burger so much as a small loaf between two buns with a small farm's worth of cheese and fixings.

If you live in Big Fork, you know this is home for a great lunch or an even more amazing dinner.

If you live in the Missoula area, this is the place you go after some time on the lake or on your way in/out of Glacier.

If you live anywhere within a 100 mile radius, this is worth the road trip.

If you're just visiting, get on over!

Oh, and Food Network, I think you need to update your 50 States 50 Burgers for MT." – Darin A.  from Yelp

"What a Fantastic meal!!   Had the 459 burger and I see why  this place was voted "Best Burger".  Huge hand formed patty, fried egg, bacon, fresh bun, fresh greens. I had to stop and think about how I was going to eat it, it was so big. I got the mixed fries, (1/2 sweet potato, 1/2 regular), and they were both fantastic.  My wife had the prime rib sandwich and it was also excellent.  They make a killer drink that is off the hook, a Maple Manhattan, if you like your whiskey and you like your Manhattans, you have to try it with real maple syrup added.  Sounds crazy, but it is to die for.  Our server, Joel, was great.  Attentive, friendly and fast.  We finished with the chocolate lava cake for desert and like everything else we had it was fantastic.   I will be back!   I do want to come for dinner, but those burgers and sandwiches are too good."   – Hank F. from Yelp

"Had a great meal with my husband. Great service, Great wine:)Beautiful dining room and charming views of Bigfork.  It is so nice to have a great place to enjoy a meal and not have to drive to Kalispell or Polson….Thanks for being in Bigfork."   – Karen R. from Yelp

"My sister and I stopped in for a quick snack during the Brewfest. We shared a shrimp appetizer which was hot, delicious and enough for two. We each had a different salad and they too were delicious. The service was pleasant, the atmosphere cozy – we will eat here again!"     – JMH from Urbanspoon
